“Hi, I’m Corinne! I believe that dog ownership should be fun and rewarding for owner and dog alike.”
My Story
For as long as I can remember there have been dogs in my life. As a child growing up I would spend endless hours at the beach with my Labs and the love of the breed has stayed with me.
I have been training and studying dogs for over 25 years and started Perth Dog Training in 2017.
Due to demand, I set up my own premises in Bridge of Earn which enabled me to expand training and give secure are for ono to one consultations.
Throughout all of the journey I have always sought to find the most effective and friendly way for owers and their dogs to become a true partnership.
My Values & Beliefs
Dog Training should be fun
Positive Reinforcement
Positive reinforcement means training with rewards and giving your dog something they really want and like when they’re behaving in a way that you like, so that they will be more likely to behave in this way again!
Responsible Dog Ownership
Dog Owners have a responsibility for their pets happiness ,welfare and behaviour around others. I promote and encourage the right amount of exercise – correct levels of stimulation and healthy diet.
My Approach
At Perth Dog Training we follow the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme . This is designed to help dog owners to teach and train their dogs in the basics of being good canine citizens, incorporating the basics of training, obedience, socialisation and appropriate behaviour.
We teach in a friendly and fun manner to allow owners and dogs to create a bond that stays for life.
I adapt my training suit the dogs and owners needs using different techniques as required.
I offer support before , during and after classes
